Markets stay cautious ahead of Fed outcome, Sensex in red

equity tips todayOn Wednesday, Indian share markets have opened on a flattish note tracking mixed global cues as investors wait for the Fed policy outcome.

At 10.20 the BSE Sensex was trading lower by 39 points at 26,658.95, (down 0.15%) while the NSE Nifty was quoting lower by 19 points at 8,202.85 (down 0.23%). BSE Midcap was fell 0.03 percent while the Smallcap index gained 0.05 percent.

About 888 shares have advanced while 753 shares declined, and 86 shares were untouched. Reliance, Asian Paints, , NTPC, Axis Bank, and Wipro were top gainers while Bharti Airtel, Coal India, HDFC, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto were losers in the Sensex.
