Sensex, Nifty, Midcap plunge 1%, Mahindra & Mahindra, HUL, NTPC outperform

equity market report Wednesday market keep on reel under pressure with Nifty cracking below 8,550 level, on account of weakness in global peers over uncertainty over US elections.

The BSE Sensex was down 250.82 points or 0.90 percent at 27,625.79 and the Nifty50 chop down 83 points or 0.96 percent to 8,543.25, while the BSE Midcap & Small cap indices declined over 1%

Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, ITC, SBI and TCS were at top to Sensex’s fall, down 1-2% whereas Mahindra & Mahindra, HUL and NTPC did better, rising 1-2 percent.

Most Asian markets went down more than 1 percent after Wall Street’s uncertainty spiked on jitters over the US presidential elections.
